Cobalto Calcite and Watermelon Tourmaline Necklace Sterling silver and 22k Gold
This necklace was an adventure in techniques and design elements I like to use in my jewelry. I had so much fun making it and enjoyed the process so much. From the 22k gold accents on the heavily textured hinged bail and drop to the little balls of granulation on the hammered texture bars and the drops of tourmaline that dangle below this is a feast for the senses. It's full of movement and has a pleasant jingle. The stone is a gorgeous bubble gum pink cobalto calcite druzy, which is a natural stone. I also have a watermelon tourmaline marquis shaped briolette hanging from one loop and a faceted rose cut watermelon tourmaline on the other side. This is a one of a kind necklace.
