♦Special Features: This necklace features a huge slice of watermelon tourmaline. It's actually a triple color watermelon with the classic green border then vibrant pink but then it sort of gets this pale translucent sort of clear with these inclusions that look like ice chips or slivers which reflect the light in all these different directions. It's a very cool effect overall and one you really appreciate in person but I did manage to capture it in the photos. There are some internal inclusions as one would expect in a tourmaline of this size but it's a stunning stone. I have set it in my double bezel with an open back to let the light through so you can enjoy the effect of the light hitting those inclusions in the center. This is a rare large stone, I really don't come across these too often. I have found only few large sizes just recently and as with all things natural gemstones you can't depend on a steady supply so you gotta buy it when you see it or miss out forever in some instances.
