🍂 Looking Ahead: From Sunlit Days to Cozy Fall Magic 🍂

As summer winds down and the days soften into that golden, in-between light, I always feel a shift in my creative flow. The colors I reach for begin to change, pulling me toward deeper tones, moodier textures, and richly saturated hues.

This time of year is brimming with inspiration and change. The air begins to shift, humidity fades, crisp cool mornings give way to bright, warm afternoons. With the school year beginning, it always feels like a fresh start. In the studio, that energy nudges me toward pieces that feel like fall: grounding, bold, and just a little mysterious.

I’ve been sketching and dreaming up new designs for the season ahead, rich gemstone colors, cozy layers, and statement pendants that shine on their own or add a touch of magic when paired with hand-knotted strands. Sparkling gemstone beads will be making their way into the shop too, knotted on silk or strung as delicate layers. There will be drapey earrings that sway with your every movement, the kind made for candlelight, a glass of wine, and romantic evenings. And more chains! I’m planning on expanding my cut-to-length chain offerings, bringing in bolder, heavier styles that you can pair with a petite pendant on a charm holder.

I’ve started pulling out a curated group of gemstones I’ve been saving for this season — polychrome jasper, natural surface tourmaline, scenic petrified opal wood, burnt orange hessonite garnet, and dendritic quartz that feels like it carries stories of ancient journeys mapped out within their depths. As always, the stones guide me. Some will step forward and become something special now, while others may rest a little longer, waiting for their turn.

Ideas are brimming, and though finding the time to bring them all to life is a challenge, I try not to pressure myself too much. That’s one of the perks of being the boss, creating at a pace that feels right.
