Siberian Green Jade Hand-Knotted Strand Necklace in Sterling Silver

There’s an undeniably sensuous allure to a hand-knotted strand of gemstones. Each bead moves with a liquid grace, the silk thread giving the necklace a supple drape against the skin. In the hand, they’re a joy to roll between your fingers, smooth and rhythmic with just the right weight. It’s a tactile pleasure, flexible and deeply satisfying. I adore layering these strands, playing with different stones, colors, and lengths, but they’re just as beautiful worn alone. Each one is knotted on silk thread chosen to complement the stones.

There is such a beautiful range of green in this Siberian jade. Deep forest green, mossy shades, and brighter almost apple green all mingle together throughout the strand, with no two stones looking quite the same. Some are more translucent while others are deeper and more opaque, and the smooth polish gives them that wonderful glossy look that I love in jade. The larger 8mm roundels really show off all that natural variation.

Green jade has long been associated with harmony, protection, and abundance. It’s considered a stone of good fortune and emotional balance, believed to nurture resilience, well-being, and a calm, steady heart.
