There’s an undeniably sensuous allure to a hand-knotted strand of gemstones. Each bead moves with a liquid grace, the silk thread giving the necklace a supple drape against the skin. In the hand, they’re a joy to roll between your fingers, smooth and rhythmic with just the right weight. It’s a tactile pleasure, flexible and deeply satisfying. I adore layering these strands, playing with different stones, colors, and lengths, but they’re just as beautiful worn alone. Each one is knotted on silk thread chosen to complement the stones.
Autumn jasper has such a pretty mix of soft, earthy color. These stones move through shades of sage and mossy green, peach, terracotta, warm cream and touches of caramel, with every bead showing a slightly different combination. I especially like the soft, almost faded quality of the colors. Nothing is too bright or too perfect, and all of those muted greens and warm peachy tones look beautiful together.
Autumn jasper is often associated with stability, balance, and a connection to the natural world. It is said to encourage calm, grounding, and a steady sense of confidence during times of change.
