Hand-Knotted Lapis Lazuli Necklace in Sterling Silver

There’s an undeniably sensuous allure to a hand-knotted strand of gemstones. There are few gemstones as instantly recognizable as lapis lazuli. Its deep cobalt blue has captivated people for thousands of years, and it's easy to understand why. Looking closely, these beautifully faceted heshi beads remind me of a clear midnight sky, their rich blue interrupted by tiny flashes of natural pyrite that shimmer like distant stars. Every bead carries its own pattern, making the strand feel wonderfully organic while the faceting adds just enough sparkle to bring the color to life. Few gemstones carry such a rich history, and even today lapis retains the same timeless sense of mystery and grandeur that made it so revered thousands of years ago.

Lapis lazuli is often associated with wisdom, intuition, truth, and self-expression. Historically it has been considered a stone of royalty, intellect, and spiritual insight.
