Faceted Blue Sapphire Pendant in Sterling Silver

This pendant features a deep blue sapphire with a rich, inky tone that shifts between midnight blue and softer twilight hues in the light. The faceted surface brings subtle flashes across the stone, revealing layers of color and depth rather than a bright, overt sparkle. It’s a sapphire with a more moody, contemplative presence—one that draws you in the longer you look.

The teardrop shape is framed in a double bezel with bold prong accents, giving the stone structure and emphasis without overpowering it. A handcrafted double bail supports the pendant and adds balance to the design, while a hand-textured backplate brings an added level of detail that carries through to every side of the piece. This is a stone I’ve held onto for years, waiting for the right setting, and it finally found its place here.
