I adore layering these strands, playing with different stones, colors, and lengths, but they’re just as beautiful worn alone. Each one is knotted on silk thread chosen to complement the stones.
These rubies have a deep, saturated raspberry color with a rich wine-dark undertone that makes the entire strand feel wonderfully lush. The color is remarkably consistent from bead to bead, while the tiny facets catch the light across their surfaces and give the necklace a subtle sparkle. It’s a beautiful ruby color, dark, juicy and just a little decadent.
Ruby has been treasured for thousands of years and has long carried associations with passion, vitality, courage and desire. In ancient lore it was considered a stone of fire and life, its intense color linked with love, strength and an inner spark that refuses to go out.
