There is something almost sensuous about a hand knotted strand of beads, especially when they are gemstone or high quality beads. It drapes beautifully and the flexibility it has makes them a tactile delight. They are so satisfying to play within your hand and they have a comfortable weight where they just feel so right. I fully admit to being obsessed with the ones I have made for myself and they are the reason I have created this layered collection. Worn paired with a complimentary necklace or two makes for a really great look. It takes an otherwise boring outfit to a whole other level. Even worn alone it adds a final polish to your outfit. This necklace is hand knotted on silk thread in a complimentary color to the beads.

I have used a really cool and fancy spring ring clasp for the closure on this necklace. It is full of style and makes for a great centerpiece. So I have added a complimentary small petite pedant to this. You can wear this with the clasp in the back or shifted to the front with the small pendant showing. 

♦Stone: This necklace features green freshwater pearls. They are top drilled so they dance along the strand and are so interesting to look at. The luster and sheen on these are so glowy and cool looking. They have a silvery green color and are really luminous. Pearls are approximately 6.5mm

Tourmaline pendant is also a similar shade of green with a little pop of brown along the top of the stone. It has some inclusions typical to tourmaline. Perfect compliment to the pearls!
