Hand-Knotted Green Onyx Necklace in Sterling Silver
There’s an undeniably sensuous allure to a hand-knotted strand of gemstones. Each bead moves with a liquid grace, the silk thread giving the necklace a supple drape that molds effortlessly against the skin. In the hand, they’re a joy to roll between your fingers, smooth and rhythmic with just the right weight. It’s a tactile pleasure—flexible, grounding, and deeply satisfying. I adore layering these strands; they bring a lush, polished finish to any outfit, whether paired with other necklaces or worn alone as a statement of quiet luxury. Each one is knotted on silk thread chosen to complement the stones, a detail that makes the piece as refined as it feels.
This strand of green onyx is absolutely luminous. The beads glow with a rich, saturated emerald green that feels vibrant and alive, while still retaining enough translucency for light to pass through them in a soft, dreamy way. The effect is especially beautiful in natural light, where the stones seem almost illuminated from within. The graduated faceted rondelles give the strand an elegant flow and a more substantial presence near the center, while the faceting adds flashes of shimmer across the surface of the beads. It’s an intensely beautiful shade of green—bold, luxurious, and difficult to ignore.
Green onyx is often associated with vitality, confidence, and emotional balance. Many believe it encourages growth, steadiness, and heart-centered energy while helping to quiet anxious thoughts and restore a sense of calm focus.
