Hand-Knotted Peridot Necklace in Sterling Silver
There’s an undeniably sensuous allure to a hand-knotted strand of gemstones. Each bead moves with a fluid grace, the silk thread giving the necklace a supple drape that molds beautifully against the skin. In the hand, it feels alive—smooth, rhythmic, grounding. I love the way these strands can transform depending on how they’re styled—layered with other necklaces for a collected, bohemian look or worn alone as a statement of color and texture. Each one is knotted on silk thread chosen to complement the stones, a small detail that makes the whole piece feel refined and intentional.
This strand features gorgeous faceted peridot gemstones in a softly graduated size, ranging from approximately 5mm to 8mm. Peridot is one of those stones that never fails to make me smile. Its vibrant lime-green color feels fresh, energetic, and full of life—the kind of green that immediately catches your eye. The larger sizes in this strand are particularly special—high-quality peridot in substantial cuts can be surprisingly difficult to find, and these stones have beautiful clarity and exceptional sparkle. As the light catches the faceting, flashes of bright green dance across the strand, showcasing all the brilliance that makes peridot such a beloved gemstone.
Peridot has long been associated with abundance, renewal, and optimism. Often called the stone of sunshine, it is believed to encourage confidence, joy, and positive energy.
