Vivid Peridot Hand-Knotted Necklace in Sterling Silver

There’s an undeniably sensuous allure to a hand-knotted strand of gemstones. Each bead moves with a liquid grace, the silk thread giving the necklace a supple drape against the skin. In the hand, they’re a joy to roll between your fingers, smooth and rhythmic with just the right weight. It’s a tactile pleasure, flexible and deeply satisfying. I adore layering these strands, playing with different stones, colors, and lengths, but they’re just as beautiful worn alone. Each one is knotted on silk thread chosen to complement the stones.

These peridot beads are exceptionally nice, with the vivid green color, clarity, and brightness that make fine peridot so beautiful. Finding peridot with this kind of quality in a full strand of well-matched 5mm beads isn't especially common. The stones are wonderfully clear and saturated, and the faceted rondelle cut catches an incredible amount of light, giving the entire necklace a bright, almost juicy green sparkle. There’s nothing pale or washed out about this strand. The color is unmistakably peridot and absolutely glows.

Peridot has been treasured since antiquity and has long been associated with abundance, renewal, and protection. It is believed to encourage optimism, confidence, and a greater openness to positive change.
