Labradorite Open Frame Earrings in Sterling Silver

These earrings feature luminous labradorite stones suspended within one of my newer open-frame designs, a style I’ve been especially excited about lately. The elongated silhouette gives them a graceful, airy presence while still feeling bold enough to stand on their own. Tiny clusters of sterling silver granules add subtle texture throughout the design, while the reverse side of the earrings has been hand textured with an organic botanical-inspired pattern for beautiful detail from every angle.

The labradorite in this pair has an especially moody, atmospheric quality to it. Soft smoky greys and mossy undertones suddenly ignite with electric blue flash as the light moves across the stones, with hints of gold and teal appearing at certain angles. Labradorite always feels a little magical to me, but these stones in particular have that dramatic glow that makes you stop and look twice.

Labradorite is often associated with intuition, transformation, and protection. Many people are drawn to it for its shifting flashes of color and the mysterious depth that seems to live inside the stone.
