Multi-Color Sapphire Hand-Knotted Necklace in Sterling Silver

There’s an undeniably sensuous allure to a hand-knotted strand of gemstones. Each bead moves with a liquid grace, the silk thread giving the necklace a supple drape against the skin. In the hand, they’re a joy to roll between your fingers, smooth and rhythmic with just the right weight. It’s a tactile pleasure, flexible and deeply satisfying. I adore layering these strands, playing with different stones, colors, and lengths, but they’re just as beautiful worn alone. Each one is knotted on silk thread chosen to complement the stones.

This strand of multi-colored sapphire is a vibrant mix of rich, natural hues—deep pinks, soft blush tones, inky blues, golden yellows, and muted greens woven together in an organic, ever-changing pattern. The faceted roundel beads catch the light with a lively sparkle, bringing out the depth and variation in each stone. At 4.5mm, the beads strike a beautiful balance: detailed and expressive up close, yet refined enough to wear daily. The color mix makes this an especially versatile piece, adding interest and dimension whether layered with other necklaces or worn on its own.
