Pink Pearl Hand-Knotted Strand Necklace in Sterling Silver
There’s an undeniably sensuous allure to a hand-knotted strand of gemstones. Each bead moves with a liquid grace, the silk thread giving the necklace a supple drape against the skin. In the hand, they’re a joy to roll between your fingers, smooth and rhythmic with just the right weight. It’s a tactile pleasure, flexible and deeply satisfying. I adore layering these strands, playing with different stones, colors, and lengths, but they’re just as beautiful worn alone. Each one is knotted on silk thread chosen to complement the stones.
These freshwater pearls have a beautiful blush pink color, but their shape is what makes this strand especially pretty. They have a smooth, freeform keshi-style shape and are drilled slightly off center, so they sit at different angles rather than forming a perfectly even row. That gives the strand a wonderful sense of movement and lets you see more of the individual shape of each pearl. Their color ranges from soft blush and pale pink to hints of peach and silvery rose, with a beautiful glow as they catch the light.
Pearls have long been associated with wisdom, balance, and intuition. They are believed to bring a calming, centering energy and encourage emotional clarity.
