Peach, Pink & Lavender Freshwater Pearl Hand-Knotted Necklace in Sterling Silver
There’s an undeniably sensuous allure to a hand-knotted strand of gemstones. Each bead moves with a liquid grace, the silk thread giving the necklace a supple drape against the skin. In the hand, they’re a joy to roll between your fingers, smooth and rhythmic with just the right weight. It’s a tactile pleasure, flexible and deeply satisfying. I adore layering these strands, playing with different stones, colors, and lengths, but they’re just as beautiful worn alone. Each one is knotted on silk thread chosen to complement the stones.
There’s something especially lovely about the color variation in this strand. Rather than one uniform shade, the pearls wander through peach, blush pink, pale lavender, creamy ivory, and silvery white, with hints of green appearing in the luster of a few beads. Some are warmer, some cooler, and some seem to change depending on the light. Together they create a soft, beautifully imperfect palette that reminds me of faded silk or the colors inside a seashell.
Pearls have long been associated with wisdom, balance, and intuition. They are believed to bring a calming, centering energy and encourage emotional clarity.
