Hand-Knotted Garnet Necklace in Sterling Silver
There’s an undeniably sensuous allure to a hand-knotted strand of gemstones. Each bead moves with a liquid grace, the silk thread giving the necklace a supple drape that molds effortlessly against the skin. In the hand, they’re a joy to roll between your fingers, smooth and rhythmic with just the right weight. It’s a tactile pleasure—flexible, grounding, and deeply satisfying. I adore layering these strands; they bring a lush, polished finish to any outfit, whether paired with other necklaces or worn alone as a statement piece. Each one is knotted on silk thread chosen to complement the stones, a detail that makes the piece as refined as it feels.
These garnets have a brighter, more fiery personality than many garnets. Rather than deep burgundy, they glow with rich shades of ember-red, cinnamon, and cherry, their exceptional transparency allowing light to pass easily through the stones. The faceted rondelles sparkle beautifully from every angle, creating flashes of warm red and coppery fire. Knotted on red silk, the color becomes even more vivid, giving the strand a warmth and energy that feels both classic and eye-catching.
Garnet has long been associated with vitality, passion, courage, and protection. For centuries it has been treasured as a stone of strength and perseverance, believed to inspire confidence while providing grounding and stability.
