Rose Quartz Hand-Knotted Strand Necklace in Sterling Silver

There’s something special about a hand-knotted strand that you just don’t get from beads strung on wire. The silk allows each stone to move freely, giving the necklace a soft, fluid drape and a wonderful feel in the hand. I love wearing these strands layered together, mixing colors, shapes, and lengths, but they have enough presence to wear beautifully on their own. Each necklace is individually knotted on silk chosen to complement the stones.

This is exceptionally high-grade rose quartz from Madagascar, with the kind of clarity and translucency that sets really beautiful rose quartz apart. The stones have a sheer blush pink color that seems to glow from within, and the generous faceted rondelles catch an incredible amount of light. Rather than the cloudy, opaque appearance often associated with rose quartz, these have a clear, almost glassy quality that makes the pink feel especially luminous. The graduation shows off the stones beautifully, becoming fuller toward the center where you can really see the color and clarity. At 24 inches, it creates a long sweep of pale pink with plenty of sparkle and presence.

Rose quartz has long been associated with love, compassion, and emotional healing. It is believed to encourage self-acceptance, tenderness, and a more open heart.
