Silverite Moonstone Hand-Knotted Necklace in Sterling Silver
There’s an undeniably sensuous allure to a hand-knotted strand of gemstones. Each bead moves with a liquid grace, the silk thread giving the necklace a supple drape that molds effortlessly against the skin. In the hand, they’re a joy to roll between your fingers, smooth and rhythmic with just the right weight. It’s a tactile pleasure—flexible, grounding, and deeply satisfying. I adore layering these strands; they bring a lush, polished finish to any outfit, whether paired with other necklaces or worn alone as a statement piece. Each one is hand-knotted on silk thread chosen to complement the stones, a detail that makes the piece as refined as it feels.
The colors are what caught my attention with this strand. Soft taupe isn't a color you come across very often in gemstone beads, especially paired with creamy ivory, muted blush, and silvery gray. The Silverite finish gives the moonstones their soft silvery glow, but it never overwhelms the palette. Everything works together, creating a necklace that feels calm, refined, and easy to live with. I can picture it with faded denim, crisp white linen, oatmeal knits, or a well-worn chambray shirt. It's one of those rare color combinations that doesn't rely on being bold to leave an impression.
Moonstone has long been associated with intuition, feminine energy, and new beginnings. Throughout history it has been treasured as a stone of inner balance, believed to encourage emotional harmony while inspiring creativity and gentle self-discovery.
