Faceted Pyrite Hand-Knotted Strand Necklace in Sterling Silver
There’s an undeniably sensuous allure to a hand-knotted strand of gemstones. Each bead moves with a liquid grace, the silk thread giving the necklace a supple drape against the skin. In the hand, they’re a joy to roll between your fingers, smooth and rhythmic with just the right weight. It’s a tactile pleasure, flexible and deeply satisfying. I adore layering these strands, playing with different stones, colors, and lengths, but they’re just as beautiful worn alone. Each one is knotted on silk thread chosen to complement the stones.
These faceted pyrite beads have that unmistakable metallic gleam, shifting between antique gold, bronze, and gunmetal as they catch the light. What makes them especially interesting is that they haven’t been cut into perfectly polished little beads. Bits of the stone’s natural surface remain here and there between the facets, giving them a look that’s half wild, half refined. The facets throw off tiny flashes of light all along the strand, while the black silk creates a dark contrast between the beads and brings out the richness of the metal.
Pyrite has long been associated with vitality, confidence, and manifestation. Often called “Fool’s Gold” for its metallic golden appearance, it has traditionally been considered a stone of abundance, protection, and personal strength.
