Sparkly Labradorite Hand Knotted Bead Necklace Sterling Silver
There’s an undeniably sensuous allure to a hand-knotted strand of gemstones. Each bead moves with a liquid grace, the silk thread giving the necklace a supple drape against the skin. In the hand, they’re a joy to roll between your fingers, smooth and rhythmic with just the right weight. It’s a tactile pleasure, flexible and deeply satisfying. I adore layering these strands, playing with different stones, colors, and lengths, but they’re just as beautiful worn alone. Each one is knotted on silk thread chosen to complement the stones.
This strand features faceted labradorite rondelles with a silvery gray body color and flashes of blue, green, and violet that appear as the stones move through the light. Labradorite can look beautifully moody and neutral one moment, then suddenly light up with an intense flash of color. That effect is called labradorescence, an optical phenomenon created as light interacts with the internal structure of the stone. The faceted surfaces add another layer of light and movement, making this a particularly beautiful strand from every angle.
Labradorite has long been associated with intuition, transformation, and protection. It is believed to encourage self-discovery, strengthen inner wisdom, and support periods of growth and change.
