Super Seven Earrings in Sterling Silver

These earrings feature a rare matched pair of super seven stones in one of my newer open-frame designs, and I absolutely love how dramatic and elegant they feel when worn. The elongated shape gives them beautiful movement and presence, while still feeling airy because of the negative space surrounding the stones. Little clusters of silver granules add texture and balance throughout the design, drawing your eye upward through the frame. The reverse side of the earrings has also been hand textured, giving them beautiful detail and dimension from every angle.

The stones themselves are mesmerizing. Layers of smoky taupe, soft plum, wine tones, and translucent violet shift through the quartz like watercolor suspended in crystal. Super seven is already an uncommon material to come across in jewelry-grade cuts, and finding a pair that matches this closely in shape, color, and internal landscape is especially rare. Each stone feels almost atmospheric, full of depth and natural inclusions that make them impossible to fully take in at just one glance.

Super seven, also known as melody stone, is a naturally occurring combination of multiple minerals within quartz and is often associated with intuition, spiritual growth, and energetic balance. Many people are drawn to it because it feels grounding and ethereal at the same time.
