This watermelon tourmaline slice has beautiful natural color zoning, with a soft rosy pink center surrounded by a vivid ring of deeper pink and a dark green outer edge. I especially love how organic the colors are in these natural slices. Rather than perfect, even bands, they follow the way the crystal actually grew, creating a cross-section of the tourmaline's internal structure. This one has lovely translucency as well, and the colors shift in intensity as the light moves through it. The back of the pendant is finished with a decorative botanical-inspired texture, giving the reverse side its own beautiful detail.

Watermelon tourmaline is often associated with emotional balance, joy, and matters of the heart, bringing together the qualities traditionally attributed to both pink and green tourmaline.
