Rainbow Moonstone Hand-Knotted Necklace in Sterling Silver

There’s an undeniably sensuous allure to a hand-knotted strand of gemstones. Each bead moves with a liquid grace, the silk thread giving the necklace a supple drape against the skin. In the hand, they’re a joy to roll between your fingers, smooth and rhythmic with just the right weight. It’s a tactile pleasure, flexible and deeply satisfying. I adore layering these strands, playing with different stones, colors, and lengths, but they’re just as beautiful worn alone. Each one is knotted on silk thread chosen to complement the stones.

This strand features generously sized rainbow moonstone roundels with a luminous white body and flashes of blue that appear as the stones catch the light. The smooth 7mm beads really let you see the character of the moonstone, from soft silvery translucence to those beautiful blue flashes that seem to float inside the stone. At 24 inches, it has a long, fluid drape and enough presence to show off just how beautiful these stones are.

Moonstone has long been associated with intuition, balance, and new beginnings. It is believed to encourage inner growth, emotional clarity, and trust in life’s natural rhythms.
