Black Opal Hand-Knotted Necklace in Sterling Silver
There’s an undeniably sensuous allure to a hand-knotted strand of gemstones. These black opals remind me of walking through a forest just after a rainstorm. At first they seem dark and quiet, their charcoal bodies softened with hints of olive and deep mossy green. Then the light breaks through, and suddenly flashes of emerald, cobalt, teal, bronze, and ember glow from within the stones before disappearing just as quickly. It's never the same twice. Every bead seems to guard its own little secret, revealing just enough color to make you lean in for another look. The graduated sizing only adds to that sense of quiet drama, allowing the larger center stones to become tiny worlds of shifting light.
