Iolite Hand-Knotted Strand Necklace in Sterling Silver

There’s an undeniably sensuous allure to a hand-knotted strand of gemstones. Each bead moves with a liquid grace, the silk thread giving the necklace a supple drape that molds effortlessly against the skin. This strand of iolite displays a beautiful range of violet-blue tones, shifting between soft periwinkle, inky indigo, and smoky gray depending on the light. Often referred to as “water sapphire,” iolite is known for this natural color-shifting quality, where the stones can appear deeper and more saturated in some lighting and lighter or more silvery in others. The faceted roundel beads catch the light with a lively sparkle, enhancing that subtle play of color.
