Iolite Hand-Knotted Necklace in Sterling Silver
There’s an undeniably sensuous allure to a hand-knotted strand of gemstones. Each bead moves with a liquid grace, the silk thread giving the necklace a supple drape that molds effortlessly against the skin. In the hand, they’re a joy to roll between your fingers, smooth and rhythmic with just the right weight. It’s a tactile pleasure—flexible, grounding, and deeply satisfying. I adore layering these strands; they bring a lush, polished finish to any outfit, whether paired with other necklaces or worn alone as a statement piece. Each one is knotted on silk thread chosen to complement the stones, a detail that makes the piece as refined as it feels.
This necklace features sparkling iolite in faceted roundels, their high quality apparent in the clarity and brilliance of each bead. Iolite, often called “water sapphire,” shimmers in shades of blue-violet that shift with the light, carrying both depth and delicacy. The effect is ethereal and refined, like sunlight filtering through twilight waters.
Long treasured for its guiding energy, iolite is said to be a stone of vision and clarity. Historically used by Viking navigators, it’s associated with inner guidance, intuition, and the ability to find one’s true path. Wearing iolite is believed to inspire confidence, strengthen perspective, and deepen spiritual insight.
