I adore layering these strands, playing with different stones, colors, and lengths, but they’re just as beautiful worn alone. Each one is knotted on silk thread chosen to complement the stones.
The color of this apatite is incredible. It’s an intense electric blue that looks almost illuminated, with the kind of saturation you usually expect from tropical water rather than a natural gemstone. The stones are transparent to translucent, so light gets inside them and makes that blue even more vivid. Each rondelle is individually faceted, creating flashes of brighter aqua as the strand moves, while the natural inclusions and variations within the stones give all that brilliant color depth. This is exactly what makes high-quality neon apatite so captivating. There really aren’t many natural gemstones that produce a blue quite like this.
