Dendritic Quartz & Citrine Architectural Ring in Sterling Silver & 22k Gold
This ring is a completely hand-fabricated construction, built piece by piece from sterling silver with layers of curved rails, textured surfaces and individually formed details creating a broad, sculptural frame across the finger. Two faceted citrines are set directly into the structure on either side of the center stone, while clusters of silver spheres add dimension above and below. From the front, all of those elements come together into a beautifully balanced composition; turn it to the side and you can really see the complexity of the construction and the hours of metalsmithing involved in building it.
At the center is a wonderfully clear dendritic quartz measuring approximately 12.5 × 8.6 mm, surrounded by a rich 22k yellow gold bezel. Dark branching inclusions rise through the transparent quartz like tiny trees captured inside the stone, with warm golden tones gathering near the bottom. Two faceted yellow citrines flank the quartz, picking up those warmer colors and bringing additional flashes of golden light to the design. The high-karat gold bezel ties everything together against the darkened sterling silver.
Dendritic quartz is traditionally associated with growth, grounding and a connection to the natural world, with its branching inclusions often symbolizing roots, trees and the patterns found throughout nature. Citrine is associated with optimism, abundance, confidence and creative energy. Together they create a beautiful symbolic pairing of grounded growth and warmth, balancing the earthy character of the dendrites with the brighter energy traditionally attributed to citrine.
