Labradorite Galaxy Statement Ring in Sterling Silver

Built around a large, luminous labradorite, this substantial sterling silver ring is all about texture, depth and the unexpected flashes of color that appear as it moves. The 20 mm stone sits at the center of a broad circular setting surrounded by dozens of individually formed silver spheres in varying sizes. Darkened recesses between them create depth and contrast, while a hand-textured border frames the entire composition. At 34 mm across, it has serious presence on the hand without losing the balance of the design.

The labradorite is especially beautiful, shifting from smoky blue-gray to vivid electric blue as the light moves across its surface. Fine natural lines and layers remain visible within the stone beneath the flash, giving it the depth and character that make labradorite so fascinating. The wide sterling silver band is heavily textured and darkened with patina, with scattered silver details across its surface. It tapers considerably toward the back for a more comfortable fit while still giving the ring the substance needed to support the oversized face.

Labradorite is traditionally associated with transformation, intuition and protection. Its shifting colors have long contributed to its reputation as a mysterious stone, often associated with creativity, imagination and seeing beyond what is immediately visible.
