Multi-Color Sapphire Hand-Knotted Necklace in Sterling Silver
There’s an undeniably sensuous allure to a hand-knotted strand of gemstones. Each bead moves with a liquid grace, the silk thread giving the necklace a supple drape that molds effortlessly against the skin. In the hand, they’re a joy to roll between your fingers, smooth and rhythmic with just the right weight. It’s a tactile pleasure—flexible, grounding, and deeply satisfying. I adore layering these strands; they bring a polished finish to any outfit, whether paired with other necklaces or worn alone as a statement piece. Each one is knotted on silk thread chosen to complement the stones, a detail that makes the piece as refined as it feels.
This strand features an extraordinary range of natural sapphire colors arranged in a soft gradient that flows from lavender blues and blush pinks through greens, golden yellows, warm oranges, and deeper berry tones. The tiny beads give the necklace a delicate, understated appearance, while the faceting adds just enough sparkle to bring the colors to life. Sapphires are most often associated with blue, but this strand highlights the remarkable variety of colors the gemstone naturally occurs in. The result is a necklace that feels colorful and eye-catching without being bold or overpowering.
Metaphysically, sapphire has long been associated with wisdom, truth, and protection. It is believed to encourage mental clarity, strengthen intuition, and bring a sense of focus and inner balance.
