Hand-Knotted Labradorite Necklace in Sterling Silver
There’s an undeniably sensuous allure to a hand-knotted strand of gemstones. Each bead moves with a liquid grace, the silk thread giving the necklace a supple drape that molds effortlessly against the skin. In the hand, they’re a joy to roll between your fingers, smooth and rhythmic with just the right weight. It’s a tactile pleasure—flexible, grounding, and deeply satisfying. I adore layering these strands; they bring a lush, polished finish to any outfit, whether paired with other necklaces or worn alone as a statement piece. Each one is knotted on silk thread chosen to complement the stones, a detail that makes the piece as refined as it feels.
This strand features faceted labradorite gemstones with soft silvery-gray body color and beautiful flashes of blue light. Labradorite is one of those stones that rewards a closer look. At first glance it appears understated and neutral, but as the necklace moves, brilliant flashes of electric blue emerge from within the stones. This optical phenomenon, known as labradorescence, is what makes labradorite so captivating. The faceting adds extra sparkle while the black silk thread enhances the depth of the stones and highlights their natural flashes of color.
Labradorite has long been associated with intuition, transformation, and protection. It is believed to encourage self-discovery, strengthen inner wisdom, and support periods of growth and change.
