Pink Watermelon Tourmaline Slice Pendant in Sterling Silver

This tourmaline slice has so much going on inside it. Rich shades of raspberry, rose and deep pink radiate through the stone, surrounding a darker natural crystal formation at the center. Rather than being perfectly clear, the slice is filled with tiny natural inclusions that catch the light as it moves, creating an unexpected glittery sparkle across the surface. It gives the stone an incredible amount of depth and makes it especially fun to see in motion.

Tourmaline slices are essentially cross-sections through the original crystal, revealing the colors, growth patterns and internal features that formed inside the stone. I love that this one doesn't look perfectly polished and predictable. The unusual shield-like shape, intense pink color and crystalline center give it a slightly strange, almost otherworldly beauty that feels completely its own.

I framed the tourmaline in sterling silver with a narrow inner border and a hand-textured outer frame that follows the natural shape of the slice. Small silver granules and curved connections add just enough detail around the edges without distracting from everything happening inside the stone. The back is finished with a starburst texture.

Pink tourmaline is traditionally associated with love, compassion and emotional healing. It is believed to encourage openness of the heart while supporting emotional resilience, warmth and connection.
