Watermelon Tourmaline Slice Petite Pendant Necklace in Sterling Silver

This pendant features a natural watermelon tourmaline slice with a gorgeous jewel-toned pink center surrounded by subtle green along the outer edge. The color is wonderfully vivid and the stone is remarkably clean for a natural tourmaline slice, allowing the internal growth and color zoning of the crystal to really show. There's even a little flash of rainbow near the bottom that catches the light from certain angles.
There is a small chip on the upper right surface of the slice, which I've shown clearly in the close-up photographs. Macro photography makes it appear more prominent than it is at actual size; in person it's fairly subtle and is most noticeable when the light catches it at the right angle. I always like to point out these natural imperfections so you know exactly what to expect.
The back of the pendant has a beautiful botanical-inspired texture, adding a little hidden detail to the piece.
Watermelon tourmaline is often associated with balance, emotional healing, and the heart, combining the qualities traditionally attributed to both pink and green tourmaline.
