This Laguna agate is an incredible little display of color and intricate natural patterning. Rich bands of burnt orange, golden yellow, rust red, chocolate brown, and smoky gray sweep across the stone in layer after layer of impossibly fine lines. Near the top, the bands twist into tightly folded, almost lace-like patterns before opening into broader ribbons of color below. There's so much going on in this little stone, and the warm, fiery palette makes all that detail even more striking. It's exactly the kind of agate that makes you want to get out a loupe and explore.

Laguna agate comes from Chihuahua, Mexico, and is especially prized by collectors for its extraordinarily fine banding, complex patterns, and rich variety of colors. Its intricate layers formed through successive deposits of silica-rich material over long periods of geological time. In traditional crystal lore, agate is associated with grounding, emotional balance, stability, and inner strength.
